What is JetZero ? Today’s aircraft contribute around 4% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall. JetZero is developing a b lended - wing body (BWB) aircraft . It uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. What You'll Do We're looking for a personable and highly organized People Operations Intern to join our People team for the summer. You'll serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, bringing strong interpersonal skills alongside a genuine commitment to process excellence and operational rigor. This is a unique opportunity to help build the people infrastructure of one of the most exciting aerospace startups in the world, as JetZero scales its workforce from prototype to production. Support internal programs and events Ongoing support of internship program and onboarding Assist talent acquisition through scheduling and candidate communication Help encourage a positive culture and workplace experience Applications are considered on a rolling basis. What You'll Bring You are passionate about accelerating the future of aviation and crave the opportunity to join a team of like-minded individuals. Currently pursuing a undergrad/master’s degree in a communication or administrative degree Organizational skills – support company programs and events Strong communication skills—ability to engage across departments to share information and process Strong people skills – ability and willingness to interact with people across the org and make people feel welcomed and valued as employees Intellectual curiosity on how to streamline and organize company process in onboarding, offboarding, and programs Coursework or project experience in people analytics, organizational behavior, or industrial-organizational psychology Internship Overview Duration: 12 weeks Location: Long Beach, CA or Greensboro, NC Work Model: In Person Compensation: Our compensation for this role is $25-$40/hr.
