2D Animator

Job brief We are looking for a creative 2D animator to develop excellent visual frames with 2D techniques. Your work will give life to NFTs and marketing posts. Animators possess a creative eye and artistic aptitude. Your duties include working with creative professionals including concept and 3D artists, graphic designers and creative producers. Epik has been a pioneer in the NFT space since 2018, and works with top brands, game companies, record labels and various global leaders of industry to strategize, launch, and produce premium digital merchandise and NFT collectibles. What you'll be doing: Meet with the creative team to conceptualize and discuss requirements and specifications Integrate images, characters, etc into background graphics Cut assets in preparation for animation and other similar clean-ups Prepare all animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formats Create storyboards Develop timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements Enhance animation with special effects At times, create 2D Assets for animation Requirements 4+ years of relevant production experience Expertise in After Effects/Premiere and similar software for motion graphics and animation Has a portfolio that illustrates the capacity to produce high-quality work Knowledge in video editing/post-production\ Knowledge in Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint or SAI Knowledge in human anatomy, lighting and shadows, color theory Knowledge in perspective and values Knowledge of current techniques and trends in animation Ability to visualize abstract concepts Ability to animate in a variety of styles and genres Knowledge in NFTs and games is a plus!
