Roche Diagnostics Corporation seeks a Digital Solutions Engineer at its Indianapolis, IN location.
Duties: Manage the full implementation life cycle for Navify Lab Operations middleware, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously across various phases of development. Facilitate the collection and analysis of clinical data to configure middleware applications, specifically focusing on the distinct modules of Laboratory Analytics and Laboratory Automation. Configure complex laboratory parameters within the software, including the establishment of reference ranges, Analytical Measurement Ranges, result modifications, and Delta Checks. Lead planning sessions with customers to align physical laboratory robotics (Automation lines) with digital workflows, including the strategic routing of samples, aliquoting, and automated storage and retrieval. Conduct rigorous “Dry Testing” using proprietary simulation tools to model laboratory behavior, followed by “Wet Testing” with live samples to verify that all configurations meet strict performance standards. Provide dedicated support during the transition to live operations (Go-Live), monitoring system performance either on-site or through remote access to resolve technical issues immediately. Manage customer expectations and provide comprehensive weekly progress updates to both internal leadership and external stakeholders during scheduled project consultations. Serve as a subject matter expert for the internal team, providing technical support and troubleshooting critical issues that require advanced simulation expertise. Use specialized simulation tools (cobas total workflow simulation) to predict and prevent workflow bottlenecks before a single physical sample is processed. May telecommute up to 5 days per week. Position requires up to 25% fully reimbursed domestic travel.
