Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Department: Finance & Accounting Reports to: Group Finance Manager Location: Coromandel Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for managing the companys financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role encompasses general ledger accounting, month-end closing, tax preparation, and supporting financial audits. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and accounting records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and assist with tax filings. Process accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules. Support internal and external audits. Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Implement and maintain internal financial controls. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage. Minimum of 35 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Working Hours : Monday to Friday 8:00 - 17:00  We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join our team.
