Who We're Looking For
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help lead our accounting operations, strengthen our financial reporting and internal control environment, and support the unique requirements of operating as a government contractor in a publicly traded environment.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Accounting Manager who is equally comfortable managing the details of the monthly close and tackling complex accounting and compliance matters.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, meaningful experience within the government contracting industry, and experience working in or supporting a publicly traded company. This person will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, supporting SEC reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with government contracting regulations.

Where You'll Make an Impact
Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, estimates, and supporting schedules.
Manage and review project accounting activities, including contract setup, revenue recognition, billing, labor distribution, and indirect cost allocations.
Ensure accounting transactions are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures required for SEC reporting, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
Support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including the development, documentation, testing, and remediation of internal controls over financial reporting.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support quarterly reviews, annual financial statement audits, and SOX testing.
Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable government contracting requirements, including FAR, CAS, and DCAA requirements.
Monitor indirect cost pools and allocation bases and assist with the development and analysis of provisional and actual indirect rates.
Support incurred cost submissions, government audits, and other contract compliance activities.
Review contract accounting matters, including revenue recognition under ASC 606, contract assets, contract liabilities, and estimates at completion where applicable.
