We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized individual to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in the firm's accounting operations by performing a variety of financial analyses, supporting multiple accounting processes, and contributing to engaging departmental projects.

Responsibilities
• Record journal entries related to routine and non-routine transactions • Prepare and process monthly payments to vendors and government agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines and payment terms • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments • Perform bank reconciliations • Participate in month-end closing activities by conducting various financial analyses • Ensure compliance with internal controls and related procedures • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the department • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned
Skills and requirements
College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role
Strong command of French and proficiency in written English
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (an asset)
