Markel invites you to join our Actuarial department for a transformative summer internship experience in 2027. As an intern at Markel—a global, publicly traded insurance company—you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the real-world operations of our Actuarial department. Whether you're working in pricing, reserving, or actuarial operations, you'll collaborate directly with experienced actuaries and contribute to meaningful projects that drive business decisions. Pay information: The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary range for the position is $24-$28.50/hr.
