Job Description Indian River State College invites qualified professionals and educators to join our adjunct faculty team. In this role, you will deliver engaging oceanography instruction, connect scientific concepts to real-world applications, and inspire students to explore the dynamic relationships between Earth's oceans and the world around them. **This position is open only to candidates who reside in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. ** Due to business and employment compliance requirements, we are unable to consider applicants who reside outside these states. JOB SUMMARY: Provides college-level instruction in oceanography and related marine science disciplines in accordance with established curriculum, course objectives, and learning outcomes. Prepares and delivers lectures, discussions, laboratory activities, and other instructional activities; evaluates and documents student learning and performance; maintains accurate course and attendance records; and provides appropriate academic guidance and feedback.
