Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic (OBCC) has locations in Othello and the Central District. Services at the clinics include pediatric medical care, behavioral health, dental services, nutrition, sports medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy and more. Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Pediatric Primary Care Location: Seattle, WA (Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic – Othello & Central District Sites) Department: Pediatric Primary Care / Ambulatory Services Employment Type: Part time / 0.8 FTE   Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our primary care team. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will deliver direct clinical care and assume primary responsibility for the clinical management of pediatric patients in an ambulatory setting. In this role, you will work closely with department attending physicians, specialists, behavioral health professionals, and community advocacy teams to provide effective, efficient, safe, and culturally responsive care.   Key Responsibilities Direct Patient Care: Perform comprehensive health histories, physical examinations, and routine well-child visits (following AAP guidelines from newborn through age 21) as well as urgent care/same-day evaluations. Diagnostic & Clinical Management: Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate clinical diagnoses; prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments; and develop ongoing management plans. Coordinated & Continuing Care: Direct and participate in complex case management and continuing care transitions for patients with chronic medical, developmental, or social complexities. Interprofessional Collaboration: Consult and collaborate with attending physicians, pediatric subspecialists, dental and behavioral health partners, and social services to deliver holistic care. Quality Improvement: Contribute to organizational, clinic-wide, and departmental continuous performance and quality improvement (CQI) initiatives aimed at improving clinical outcomes and health equity.
