The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Delta Township seeking experienced Advanced Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for complex quality issues.
Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
Drive continuous improvement activities through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct advanced quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior quality engineers and manufacturing personnel.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
5+ years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP).
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys).
ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
