The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for complex quality issues.
Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product quality.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct supplier quality audits and drive continuous improvement within the supply chain.
Drive the implementation of industry best practices and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding and practical application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
Proven experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) is highly desirable.
Bonus Qualifications
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certifications.
Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and problem-solving.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers or technicians.
Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools (Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus).
Experience working with international standards like IATF 16949 or AS9100.
