The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced quality control plans for new and existing products.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action initiatives using 8D methodology.
Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles.
Conduct statistical analysis of process and product data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
Facilitate failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and control plan development.
Manage and resolve complex supplier quality issues, including audits and performance monitoring.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding and application of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Control Plans, MSA)
Proficient in problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis)
Experience with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems
ASQ Certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) preferred
Bonus Qualifications
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
Experience with AS9100 or IATF 16949 quality management systems
Strong data analysis skills, including Minitab or JMP proficiency
Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and FMEA processes
Experience mentoring junior engineers
