The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Mason seeking Advanced Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for complex quality issues using statistical tools.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated into new product development.
Conduct supplier quality audits and manage supplier performance to meet quality standards.
Mentor and train junior quality engineers on advanced quality techniques and problem-solving.
Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma).
Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality assurance tools.
Bonus Qualifications
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Experience with AI-powered quality tools
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 principles
Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
