The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced quality control plans for new product introductions.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for complex quality issues.
Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product quality.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct supplier quality audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply base.
Mentor junior quality engineers and provide technical expertise in problem-solving methodologies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce defect rates.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and various quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA).
Proven ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry quality standards.
Bonus Qualifications
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
