About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to join our team at Kid's Club in Palo Alto. As the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our afterschool program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our students. You will work closely with other teachers and staff to develop and implement lesson plans, manage student behavior, and communicate with parents and guardians. The Lead Teacher, will lead implementation of curriculum for the teaching team. Your leadership and guidance will be essential in creating a positive and enriching experience for our students.
Minimum Qualifications:
12 ECE units including core units (Child Development: Curriculum; Child, Family & Community)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and supervise student behavior
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
Ability to obtain Child Development Master Teacher Permit within one year…
