Position Summary
The Analytical Chemist is responsible for performing quality testing using analytical testing methods. The role supports R&D formulation development, quality control, manufacturing, and regulatory registration activities while ensuring compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Analytical Testing
Analyze raw materials, intermediates, technical active ingredients, and finished formulations.
Perform routine and non-routine analysis using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
Conduct stability studies and evaluate product shelf-life.
Review and interpret analytical data and prepare technical reports.
Ensure accurate laboratory documentation and data integrity.
Method Development & Validation
Develop and optimize analytical methods for new products and formulations.
Perform method validation and verification activities.
Support analytical method transfers to QC and manufacturing laboratories.
Troubleshoot analytical methods and laboratory instruments.
R&D Support
Support formulation development projects through analytical characterization.
Conduct compatibility, stability, and degradation studies.
Generate analytical data for product development and registration programs.
