Who You’ll Work With:
We are seeking an Analyst, to join our team to support the London ABF Analytics team throughout the entire deal investment lifecycle – underwriting, acquisition, asset management and disposals. The role’s focus will be on critically analysing data received from external parties, automating standard reporting and ad-hoc analysis. The Analyst will be responsible for data analysis, process design, data quality and additional analysis supporting the valuation process.
The overall objective of this role is to support the London ABF Analytics team throughout the entire deal investment lifecycle – underwriting, acquisition, asset management and disposals. The role’s focus will be on critically analysing data received from external parties, automating standard reporting and ad-hoc analysis. The analyst will be responsible for data analysis, process design, data quality and additional analysis supporting the valuation process.
The role will be located in Pune, India, reporting to the Managing Director, Analytics, in London.
What You’ll Do:
Manage datasets comprising of customer data, transactional data etc. from multiple sources and integrate into a data warehouse
Dataset stratification analysis, support development of pricing models
Work with senior analysts and the broader deal team to provide data solutions as required
Support the London team running analytics on existing and new ABF transactions
Work with our partners (banks, rating agencies, auditors etc) to ensure timely delivery of data to required standards
Contribute to special projects as directed by management
What We’re Looking For:
Required
A minimum of 12 months SAS programming experience, or equivalent data analysis software package
Proficient in Excel
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to audit own work
Highly analytical and creative mind set
Ability to work both independently and in teams
Strong critical reasoning skills
Strong spoken communication skills
Preferred
At least 2:1 undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, etc.)
Experience in financial services sector
