The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing technologies.
Develop and maintain documentation for application configurations and procedures.
Optimize existing manufacturing applications for performance and reliability.
Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of new application features.
Train end-users on the effective use of manufacturing applications.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative technical solutions.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing and understanding designs.
Prior experience in a customer-facing role or providing technical support.
Understanding of various manufacturing processes such as machining, additive manufacturing, or injection molding.
