The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking Applications Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop software solutions for manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues on the factory floor.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
Implement and test software applications to ensure functionality and performance.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage.
Optimize existing applications for improved efficiency and scalability.
Document software designs, functionalities, and user manuals.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
Proven ability to interpret technical specifications, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical solutions to complex customer challenges.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with PLM/PDM systems
Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD)
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI in manufacturing)
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
Scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
