Assembler / Kitter / Light Fabricator Job Summary We are hiring Assemblers, Kitters, and Light Fabricators to join an automotive manufacturing team in Lafayette, IN. This is a full-time, hands-on production position working on an assembly line. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures. Responsibilities Assemble automotive components according to established procedures and specifications Use basic hand tools and equipment as needed Gather, sort, and organize parts and materials for production Perform light fabrication and production tasks Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity expectations Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety rules and procedures Work effectively as part of a team on an assembly line Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good attention to detail Ability to work at a consistent pace in a production environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to use basic hand tools Must be able to work the assigned shift Schedule 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Pay $13.50–$14.50 per hour , based on experience/assignment IND3
