Position Overview
The Asset Recovery Manager is responsible for the development, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's asset management and recovery program. This role serves as the enterprise subject matter expert for asset lifecycle management, providing strategic oversight of asset accountability, recovery controls, compliance requirements, risk mitigation, and process improvement initiatives.
The position partners with Operations, People, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders to establish governance, analyze trends, strengthen controls, and reduce financial losses associated with company assets.
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 base salary depending on experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Asset Management and Recovery Program Administration
Create, implement and administer the organization's asset management and recovery program, ensuring compliance with company policies, established controls, and accountability standards.
Manage complex asset recovery matters associated with employee separations, transfers, leaves of absence, workforce transitions, and other business events, exercising independent judgment in determining appropriate resolution strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for asset management and recovery matters, providing guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Analyze program performance, recovery trends, inventory data, and operational metrics to identify risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Review complex or high-risk asset recovery exceptions and determine appropriate escalation, disposition, or corrective action.
Oversee relationships with recovery vendors, shipping providers, and internal business partners to ensure service expectations and program objectives are achieved.
Maintain accurate asset records, supporting documentation, and reporting to ensure audit readiness and compliance with company requirements.
Resolve issues involving lost, damaged, unrecovered, or disputed assets through investigation, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
