Compensation: Minimum starting salary based on education: FA15 Bachelor's degree: $52,680 FA16 Master’s degree: $55,430.00 FA17 Master’s +45: $58,180.00 FA18 Doctorate: $60,930.00 Final salary to commensurate with education, experience and other applicable factors. Compensation Type: Salary Employment Type: Regular FLSA: Exempt Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Summary The automotive instructor will teach 30 pay hours per year of assigned classes and perform instructional duties in diverse learning environments. Responsibilities will include following the CDX Learning System by designing and preparing course assignments according to the Automotive Service of Excellence Standards (ASE) and the programs accreditations agreement. Maintaining accurate grading, tracking student work, attendance and assessing student placement in Canvas on a daily and weekly basis. Maintaining scheduled office hours, meeting with students and providing academic advisement to students in the Automotive Program and related areas. Provide mentoring and guidance to adjunct faculty and assist with student conferences when necessary. It is expected that faculty will maintain current professional standards, ASE Certifications in classes that are being taught, as well as participate in committee/department meetings when possible, and support the mission of SFCC and the School of Trades, Advanced Technologies & Sustainability.
