For more information, please visit www.lggindustrial.com ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Role Profile Position:  Welder Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA Job Type:  Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt Summary of the Role  The function of the Welder is to prep and weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel parts using a TIG process as instructed by supervisors. This position also maintains a safe working environment and good housekeeping conditions.   Responsibilities  Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures Help create a safety culture and actively engage the workforce in projects that will help reach our journey to zero incidents Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications Set up welding cells for serial production runs Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task Follow all safety rules and quality standards Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency  Perform other duties as trained and qualified for Skills and Abilities  Possess excellent customer service skills Ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written Requires proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure  Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, internet and email Strong mechanical maintenance experience and strong knowledge hand and power tools Experience with steel,…
