Position Information:
The Nursing Department at Misericordia University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure-track faculty position on our Dallas, Pennsylvania campus, beginning January 2027.
Responsibilities will include didactic, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction in undergraduate nursing programs. This is an on-campus position and is not eligible for remote work. Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities may be required.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master's degree in Nursing.
Current, unencumbered Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Preferred:
Earned doctorate in Nursing or a related field (PhD, EdD, or DNP).
Additional Qualifications:
Previous post-secondary teaching experience in nursing.
Experience supervising nursing students in clinical practice settings.
Experience teaching nursing students in laboratory and/or simulation environments.
Strong commitment to student success and excellence in teaching.

The undergraduate and graduate Nursing programs at Misericordia University are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Traditional Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing
Part-Time Evening BSN Program
Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) Weekend Program
