Freedom Real Estate is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist with the management of all aspects of a construction project from start to finish across multiple business lines (Development, Advisory Services, and Construction).
As an Assistant Project Manager your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Assist in coordinating project activities, schedules, and timelines to support the Project Manager
Monitor project progress and update tracking tools to ensure tasks stay on schedule
Prepare and distribute project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and logs
Support communication between project teams, subcontractors, and clients as directed
Assist in maintaining project budgets by tracking costs and reporting discrepancies
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards on-site
Conduct basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management
Participate in project meetings and provide follow-up support on action items
Aid in resolving minor project issues and escalate larger concerns to the Project Manager
Assist with site inspections and report findings to ensure alignment with project plans
Maintain organized project records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Review submittals and shop drawings for completeness and accuracy
Assist the Preconstruction Manager with estimating, subcontractor bidding, and procurement
Review and approve subcontractor/supplier pay applications
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
0-5 years of experience assisting with construction project management
Basic proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office
Understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control principles
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
