The Opportunity SAFE seeks an Associate for its Center for Grid Security. This individual will help drive the execution of the Center's initiatives while building the systems, processes, and relationships that enable the Center to scale its impact. This role is designed for someone who wants to build expertise, take ownership, and contribute to work that matters. The strongest candidates will be motivated not only by the mission, but also by the opportunity to become a trusted partner to the Executive Director and play a meaningful role in helping build and scale the Center for Grid Security. You will gain exposure to high level policy discussions, build a network across the energy and national security communities, and work alongside executives from major technology and energy companies, senior government officials, congressional staff, military leaders, and other experts shaping America's energy future. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys enabling others to perform at their highest level. The successful candidate will take pride in creating order from complexity, anticipating needs, managing details, and ensuring priorities are executed effectively. They will derive satisfaction from helping the Center and its leadership succeed. The Associate will be based in Washington, D.C. and will work from SAFE’s conveniently-located office.
