Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Public Cloud Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our public cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of cloud resources.  The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading public cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to support business operations. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Management and Support: Monitor and manage the health and performance of cloud-based resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networks, databases). Provide technical support for issues related to public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Ensure cloud resources are properly configured and optimized for performance, cost, and security. Participate in On-call rotations Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests related to public cloud environments. Investigate and diagnose cloud service issues, escalating to senior engineers or cloud providers when needed. Ensure proper root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues. Deployment and Automation: Assist in deployment and management of cloud-based applications and services using CI/CD pipelines Help automate repetitive tasks using cloud automation tools (Terraform and Ansible). Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with development and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues. Provide technical support and training to internal teams on cloud best practices and new services. Document FAQ, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting guides. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: . Act on alerts and tune the environment.  Optimize cloud usage and ensure resources are right-sized properly. Security and Compliance: Monitor cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and compliance issues, utilizing AWS security tools like Guard Duty and AWS Shield. Assist in maintaining cloud security standards in alignment with internal policies and industry best practices.
