Job Purpose The Associate Line Producer plays a vital role in managing and supporting production activities from planning to delivery. Working closely with the Line Producer and cross-functional teams, this position ensures seamless coordination, financial tracking, and timely project execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Line Producer in creating and maintaining production budgets, schedules, and cost reports. Coordinate daily production operations including call sheets, crew communication, and logistics. Track project progress, assets, and milestones using production management tools such as ShotGrid, Excel, and other scheduling or tracking software. Monitor production expenditures and ensure cost control through accurate reporting and documentation. Act as a liaison between production, accounting, and post-production departments to ensure smooth workflow. Support vendor management, including rate negotiations, purchase orders, and service tracking. Assist in hiring, onboarding, and coordinating production staff and artists. Oversee and track deliverables to ensure compliance with project timelines and client expectations. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and labor regulations, including union/guild standards. Provide on-set or remote support during shoots or key production phases as needed. Maintain organized production documentation and support audit and reporting processes. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a Production Coordinator or Associate Line Producer role within film, TV, or digital media. Proficiency in production tools such as ShotGrid, Excel, Google Sheets, and other scheduling or project management software. Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Familiarity with production workflows, budgeting, and union/guild requirements is an advantage. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours, including weekends or travel when required. Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or related discipline preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
