About the Role Albireo Energy is hiring Automation Specialist – EPMS I's to join our Mission Critical team. What You'll Do Assist with wiring verification and point-to-point continuity checks on power meters and EPMS field devices. Support network bring-up activities under direction of senior technicians. Assist with startup tasks for EPMS field devices. Maintain field markups and assist with daily project reports. Report to work on time and ready to perform assigned tasks. Maintain company tools, test equipment, materials, and company vehicle(s). Complete assigned OEM and internal training as part of your career growth plan. Technology You'll Work With: Schneider PME Rockwell Studio 5000 Allen-Bradley PLCs Ignition SCADA Modbus TCP/RTU EtherNet/IP SNMP / OPC UA Windows / VMware UPS / Switchgear Gensets/ Meters Requirements What You'll Bring 0–2 years of experience in electrical, controls, or instrumentation preferred — entry-level candidates encouraged to apply. Associate degree or vocational training preferred but not required. Basic understanding of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams. OSHA-10 and NFPA 70E training preferred — ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Self-starter attitude: inquisitive, reliable, and eager to learn. Familiarity with basic computer skills and MS Office.
