AV Installation Technician

We're looking for an AV Technician to install and service high-end smart home systems in premium homes across Los Angeles. There's a clear path to grow from Technician to Lead Technician to Service and Programming. You Are: A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work. You Have: Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ. Your Location: Our Office: 4151 Redwood Ave #405, Los Angeles, CA 90066 Projects are located in the surrounding area Your Schedule: Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!! Mon-Fri: 8:00am-4:00pm Your Manager: Chris, System Design Install audio, video, and home theater systems (TVs, projectors, speakers) Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Speaker, Control, RCA) Build and lace network racks Install lighting control and keypads, motorized window treatments, intercom, surveillance, access control, and WiFi Commission, configure, and test systems Read and interpret construction plans, wiring diagrams, and schematics Coordinate with contractors and other trades on active construction sites Troubleshoot and service existing systems 2+ years of experience in AV, low-voltage, smart home, or a related trade Basic electrical and networking knowledge Bonus Points If You Have: Experience with Lutron (HomeWorks QS, RadioRA), Savant, Control4, or Crestron Access control and intercom systems (2N, Siedle, smart locks) CEDIA, Lutron, or manufacturer certifications; OSHA 10/30
