AV Field Service Engineer – South If you're an experienced AV Engineer who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and being the person clients can rely on, this could be a brilliant next step. We're looking for an AV Field Service Engineer to join a highly experienced and knowledgeable technical team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients across London and the South. The Role As an AV Field Service Engineer, you'll take responsibility for keeping client AV systems performing at their best. You'll be trusted to diagnose and resolve faults, carry out preventative maintenance and repairs, and provide clients with a knowledgeable, professional and reassuring service. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload in the field, but you certainly won't be on your own. You'll be joining a solid, supportive technical team with a huge amount of AV knowledge and experience to draw upon. Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving AV system faults on-site Carrying out preventative maintenance and equipment servicing Producing clear and concise reports following site visits Building strong, long-term relationships with clients Supporting the AV Help Desk team when required Working within customer SLAs and maintaining high service standards Organising bench repairs and liaising with manufacturers when required The Person Ideally, you'll have at least two years' experience within an AV Field Service Engineering role and be confident fault-finding across a range of professional AV systems. More importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, communicates well with clients and takes pride in getting things working properly. Experience with some of the following would be beneficial: Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC, Logitech, Poly, Biamp, ZeeVee and Shure You may also have experience with remote management platforms such as: Utelogy, Barco, Fusion, RMS, Avedia Server and TMS AVIXA CTS, CTS-I or CTS-D certification would be advantageous, although broader technical experience and a strong AV background are equally valued.
