Aviation Digital Services Officer | Helicopters | Bankstown NSW
We are seeking a highly organised and technically capable Aviation Digital Services Officer to join our Engineer team in Bankstown NSW. This role offers a unique blend of IT support, engineering administration, compliance coordination, and operational support within a dynamic aviation environment.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting engineering operations through the administration of digital systems, technical records, workforce compliance, and day-to-day operational activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing IT administration and support, including Microsoft Surface devices, user accounts, permissions, hardware, and software support.
Administering engineering systems and user access, including maintenance management platforms such as Gannet.
Maintaining training records, personnel authorisations, and compliance tracking.
Supporting technical records management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of engineering documentation.
Assisting with roster coordination and travel arrangements for engineering personnel.
Producing reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and related business tools.
Supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Providing administrative support to Engineering leadership.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in Aviation industry (desirable)
Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies
Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience working with database or maintenance management systems.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power BI.
Experience in IT administration, including device deployment, user account management, and technical support.
