Azure .NET Technical Lead

Azure .NET Technical Lead JD (8 - 15 yrs exp) Skills Required Must have worked on Azure environment for at least 4+ years. Azure App Service (Web App, API App) Azure API Management Event Hub Azure SQL and Cosmos DB App Insights Must be hands-on and capable of taking up coding assignments such as frameworks, reusable components, complex PoCs, and critical technical solutions. Should spend approximately 60% of their time on hands-on development/coding activities and 40% on technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and team guidance. Programming Language: C#/.NET Core Excellent communication skills Nice to have Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude for coding, code review, productivity improvement, and engineering acceleration. Responsibilities Own one or more projects under development. Thoroughly understand requirements and design detailed technical solutions. Design and implement automated unit testing frameworks as required. Use best practices and coding standards. Conduct peer reviews and lead reviews and provide feedback. Clarify all unknown areas communicated by the onsite team/customer. Mentor junior team members with the assistance of PM/Architect. Promptly escalate issues affecting product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report the same to the reporting manager. Ensure quality and timely delivery of agreed deliverables. Target zero surprises; proactively react to challenges with detailed written explanations. Help PM in the annual and mid-year appraisal process. Function as a player-coach Technical Lead, dedicating approximately 60% of effort to hands-on coding and solution development, and 40% to mentoring, technical governance, code reviews, and team development. Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude to improve developer productivity, accelerate development, enhance code quality, and support engineering best practices. Overall, the Technical Lead should be a reference point and technical role model for the team.
