You will work alongside engineers, architects, and product builders in a collaborative environment where your contributions make a direct impact on the people and businesses that rely on our platform every day.   If you are a passionate engineer eager to make a difference, join us as we shape the future of digital banking together.     About the Role:   Develop and   maintain   scalable and reliable microservices powering core banking systems, merchant   acquiring   platforms, and internal banking applications.   Build and integrate backend services under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to the performance, reliability, and security of production systems.   Grow your technical skills within a collaborative team, taking increasing ownership of features and contributing to engineering best practices across Enterprise Engineering.   What You'll Do:   Backend Development:   Develop and   maintain   distributed systems and microservices using Java and Spring Boot with REST APIs and messaging systems.   Implement event-driven systems using Kafka to enable seamless communication between services.   Build and   maintain   backend services that underpin core banking systems, merchant   acquiring   platforms, and internal banking applications.   Contribute to ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services in production environments.   System Design & Architecture:   Contribute to technical discussions and design decisions, implementing solutions aligned with engineering best practices.   Work with data models across relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases.   Develop and consume internal and external APIs of reasonable complexity, following established service contracts.   Build and   maintain   containerised   applications using Docker and Kubernetes.   AI Coding Tools:   Leverage AI coding tools ( e.g.   ILMU, Claude, GitHub Copilot ) productively   for backend development, test generation, and code review   assistance .   Apply engineering judgement to   validate , refine, and take ownership of AI-generated code before integration.   Testing & Quality:   Write meaningful unit and integration tests across assigned backend services.   Participate in peer code reviews, providing and receiving constructive…
