About the Role:
As a Senior Manager for SS&E Governance in China, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the China Lead and their team. You will help plan key activities and meetings, take meeting minutes, track action items, manage schedules, organize events and meetings, and handle both local and international travel arrangements. By closely collaborating with various teams, you will support the development and implementation of strategic plans to ensure that governance objectives are effectively advanced across all sites in China. Your Contribution:
Assist the China Lead in defining governance frameworks, policies, and standards: Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and periodic updates of policies, guidelines, standards, and other governance documentation aligned with global frameworks
Contribute to organizational development strategies: Support the establishment and continuous development of China's SS&E organization
Oversee SS&E reporting and performance management: Ensure effective internal reporting mechanisms by developing templates, KPIs, and metrics to manage organizational performance and support decision-making
Facilitate cross-functional reporting processes: Coordinate necessary activities to ensure smooth decision-making across departments
Monitor budget status: Collaborate with Finance to track payment schedules and cash flow plans
Manage documentation and processes: Ensure proper recording and archiving of relevant records while establishing centralized support functions such as onboarding programs, training plans, internship coordination, and request/incident management workflows
A Good Match:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Administrative Management, Project Management, or related fields such as Law
Proficiency in written and spoken English to facilitate cross-cultural communication
At least 10 years of professional experience in a related industry with 5+ years in executive assistant or project management roles within multinational corporations
Strong sense of responsibility with confidentiality awareness as well as service-oriented mindset coupled with cost-consciousness
Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the ability to analyze resources for effective decision-making
Excellent communication skills for external relations as well as team leadership capabilities; adaptable self-starter with integrity-driven professionalism
Strategic thinker capable of translating high-level directives into executable strategies while identifying opportunities or risks from data insights
Skilled at synthesizing core methodologies from practical experiences while designing mechanisms or SOPs to ensure execution feasibility
