Broker Sales Representative

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Broker Sales Representative to join a growing financial services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for cold calling prospective clients, contacting existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and selling insurance and banking-related financial products. This is a highly target-driven sales role for someone who is confident on the phone, commercially minded, and experienced in converting conversations into sales. Key Responsibilities Make high-volume outbound cold calls to prospective clients. Contact and manage existing clients to identify additional needs and sales opportunities. Generate new business through proactive telephone-based sales. Identify opportunities across insurance and banking/financial products. Conduct needs-analysis conversations with prospective and existing clients. Present suitable products and solutions based on client requirements. Handle objections and confidently close sales. Follow up with prospects and clients throughout the sales process. Maintain and manage an accurate sales pipeline. Record all client interactions and activity on the CRM. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Cross-sell and upsell additional financial products to existing clients. Maintain strong, professional client relationships. Ensure all sales activity complies with relevant financial services regulations. Valid RE5 certificate — mandatory. Previous experience in financial services, insurance, banking or brokerage sales. Proven experience in cold calling and telephone-based sales. Experience dealing with both new and existing clients. Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Confident objection handling and closing ability. Good CRM and computer literacy. Strong understanding of financial products and client needs.
