A little about the role
As Broker Support Administrator, you will manage outstanding insurance premiums and debtor accounts across Capricorn Insurance Services. You will monitor aged debt, contact Members by phone and email, secure payment commitments, issue debtor correspondence and maintain accurate records of collection activity.
You will negotiate and document payment arrangements, investigate billing or payment discrepancies, assist with invoice reconciliation, and process and monitor premium funding documentation. You will also provide weekly updates on 30, 60 and 90-day debtors and applicable debtor letters.
Working closely with Account Executives, Risk Account Managers, insurers, premium funders and Finance, you will provide prompt account-related support, escalate aged or high-risk debtors and help improve debtor collection processes while maintaining a positive Member experience.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for a confident and service-focused accounts administrator who can manage sensitive payment conversations professionally, maintain accurate records and balance collection outcomes with positive Member relationships.
What’s essential
Experience in debtor collections, accounts receivable, credit control or account administration.
Experience managing high-volume outbound and inbound customer communications.
Demonstrated experience negotiating payment arrangements and resolving account queries.
Strong telephone communication, customer service and negotiation skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle difficult or sensitive conversations professionally.
Highly regarded
Experience within insurance, financial services or a related industry.
Experience with premium funding arrangements and systems such as Insight, OfficeTech, Sunrise, SCTP or similar…
