Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience to support complex digital transformation initiatives involving legislative, regulatory, and document lifecycle processes for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.
Role & responsibilities
Analyse business context, strategic objectives, and stakeholder needs to ensure solutions align with organisational goals.
Gather, elicit, validate, and document business requirements using structured business analysis techniques.
Assess and model current business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Design and maintain business process models and workflows using recognised modelling standards such as BPMN and UML.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories to support solution design and development teams.
Define acceptance criteria and support testing activities, including test scenario creation, defect analysis, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, testers, and project management teams.
Analyse legislative and regulatory workflows and convert requirements into actionable user stories and business rules.
Support cross-organisational and interinstitutional requirements gathering activities involving multiple stakeholders.
Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, including change request management.
Contribute to process standardisation initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
Assist in data analysis, validation, and reporting activities to support business decision-making.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree (EQF Level 6) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
Strong facilitation and workshop moderation capabilities.
Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and traceability.
Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
Capable of working autonomously while engaging effectively within cross-functional teams. 
Strong organisational and planning skills.
English: Minimum B2 level (CEFR).
Additional European languages are considered an asset.
Technical Skills
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management.
Minimum 3 years of experience with business process modelling using BPMN, UML, or equivalent methodologies.
