About Us
Hatch Studio has been building and running software since 2011. Our team has worked on products used by millions of people, alongside companies like EA, Epic Games and Krafton. We've lasted 15 years by delivering great work and treating people well.
We believe AI is changing how great software gets built, and we want our people at the front of that change. At Hatch, you'll be encouraged to explore AI tools in your daily work, share what you learn, and help shape how we build. We want people who are curious, care about quality, and take ownership of their work.
We're based in Vancouver, with team members across Canada.
About The Role
AI can build anything. We make sure it's the right thing. Today we're growing into AI-native managed delivery, powered by our own platform, AEPilot, and we're looking for our first Business Development & Discovery Lead. You'll own outreach end to end: finding the right people, starting real conversations, and booking qualified meetings.
The people you'll talk to are business leaders — in product, operations, customer, marketing or IT — at mid-to-large companies. They own an outcome and a budget, and they need software built while their own tech team is busy elsewhere. We're industry-neutral, with a focus on regulated and operations-heavy sectors: financial services, insurance, healthcare, energy and utilities, transportation and logistics, the public sector, and regulated manufacturing.
You'll be selling AEPilot-powered managed delivery. Clients start with a paid 2–3 week Planning Sprint that ends with a clear plan, a clear budget and a date. From there we build, then keep evolving and operating the product with them. Along the way, AEPilot keeps a living Product Memory of every business, technical and compliance decision behind the product — and the client owns it.
This is a hybrid position in Vancouver, or remote within Canada, with working hours that must align with Pacific Time (PT) business hours.
