Assistant Professor, Teaching & Learning

The College of Education is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position for Education Generalist. The teaching assignment will include Education Generalist courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. There is the possibility of teaching on-line, on ground and off campus courses. Position is scheduled to begin July 30, 2027. The College of Education at Austin Peay State University provides teacher training in an environment that provides opportunities for students and faculty to work and learn together. Small classes provide opportunities for students and faculty to establish relationships that will last throughout a student’s academic career. Teaching and advising are valued skills and weighed equally with research in the evaluation process. Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
