Location: Franklin, TN Job Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid (Mondays – Thursdays in office, Fridays remote) Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree preferred Sponsorship: No   Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Buyer 2, Indirect Purchasing to join our team in Franklin, TN.   In this role, you will negotiate pricing, facilitate purchases, and coordinate all activities required to assigned commodities.     A Day in the Life The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives. Leads pricing negotiations and establishes cost-effective agreements for assigned commodities. Identifies, evaluates, and develops suppliers. Ensures suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations through performance management and analysis. Manages contracts, purchase orders, and supplier records while maintaining organized documentation. Drives cost reduction initiatives and coordinates cross-functional efforts to ensure uninterrupted supply and resolve issues.   Who We’re Looking For Required: 3-5 years of relevant and related experience. Bachelor’s degree OR 8 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree required. If Associate’s degree, must have 4 additional years of equivalent experience. Working knowledge of MS Office. Ability to work on-site in Franklin, TN. Ability to travel approximately 20%.   Desired: Strong understanding of commodities, market trends, and applicable regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Proven negotiation skills with a focus on cost optimization. Ability to analyze costs and evaluate manufacturing processes.
