Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!    This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will support the performance of day to day tactical purchasing functions for various spaceflight systems as well as negotiate and manage Master Service Agreements, and Consulting and Professional Service Agreements with consultants and service providers to support various departments and programs. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of supplier communications, contract pricing, quality, and build schedule and will be responsible for supplier management and performance. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities: Work with internal stakeholders to create supplier selection criteria and create Requests for Proposal to solicit bid responses to meet company objectives. Work with internal stakeholders to develop Statements of Work and appropriate payment milestone schedules. Hold supplier accountable for their performance to the SOW. Coordinate supplier set up documentation for new suppliers and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreement, Master Service Agreement or Consulting and Professional Service Agreement language with suppliers. Manage and develop strategic suppliers. Evaluate current processes and practices to identify areas for improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques. Accountable for Purchase Order life cycle management from requisition to invoice payment. Serve as an escalation point for the resolution of discrepancies related to purchasing, delivery, receiving,…
