About the role
Join a high-impact Finance team where you'll play a key role in safeguarding the financial strength and resilience of Redion's Australia and New Zealand operations. Reporting to the Head of Capital and Investment, you'll provide critical analysis and insights that support regulatory capital management, helping ensure the business remains well-positioned to meet its commitments and navigate a dynamic risk environment.
This is an opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded analyst to take ownership of regulatory capital and solvency reporting, capital forecasting, stress testing and strategic capital planning. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll help shape capital management decisions, contribute to regulatory submissions, and support the ongoing development of our Capital Plan and ICAAP framework, delivering meaningful impact across the organisation.
What the role looks like
· Preparing and reviewing regulatory capital adequacy, solvency and prescribed capital amount calculations across Australia and New Zealand.
· Producing capital forecasts, stress testing and scenario analysis to assess capital resilience and support strategic decision-making.
· Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Capital Management Plan and ICAAP framework.
· Preparing regulatory submissions and reports for APRA, RBNZ and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Delivering insightful management reporting and analysis on capital positions, emerging risks and regulatory requirements.
· Partnering with Finance, Risk, Actuarial and Investment teams to support effective capital management and investment oversight.
· Identifying opportunities to enhance capital modelling, reporting processes and controls, driving continuous improvement across the function.
· Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice capital management.
What you’ll bring
· Relevant Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
