OVERVIEW S&B is currently searching for a Project Controls Manager who is responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, auditing, cost control, risk (contingency/escalation) management, and reporting functions across EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)/Alliance projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contractual and organizational requirements. The manager provides leadership to the project controls team and works closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, subcontracts and construction teams. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Plans, schedules, coordinates and oversees the work of all Project Controls personnel. EDUCATION Normally requires a four-year technical degree. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent years of experience. Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in project controls within EPC/Alliance or large-scale industrial projects. Strong expertise in cost engineering, scheduling (Primavera P6), earned value management, and risk analysis. Proficiency with project controls software (EcoSys, Prism, SAP, Primavera, MS Project, Omega 365). Deep understanding of EPC/Alliance contracts (lump sum, cost reimbursable, unit rate) and financial controls. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing project controls teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environment.
