Carpenter

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Carpenters for a project in Pensacola, FL. We are looking for dependable candidates with hands-on carpentry experience who can work safely, follow instructions, and contribute to a productive jobsite. Pay: $25–$27 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: First shift, 12–16 hours per day Carpenter Responsibilities Install temporary plywood barriers over door and window openings to secure the building Assemble, erect, and repair structural frameworks Install windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, insulation, drywall, and other building materials Perform finish carpentry and trim work as needed Hang and finish drywall as needed Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment, including power saws, hammers, and measuring tapes Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings when required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Carpenter Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction Experience with trim work, finish carpentry, or drywall installation is a plus Ability to safely use common carpentry tools and equipment Ability to read blueprints is a plus OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus Must provide your own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work extended shifts as required by the project Benefits Weekly pay Employee referral program Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan
