Catering Assistant

Job Description Aramark UK are currently recruiting two Mobile Catering Assistants to join the team at NESCOT College, KT17 3DS.   We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all employees and workers to share this commitment . We also offer apprenticeship schemes, so that your learning journey can continue.  Job Responsibilities Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products  Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services including hot sandwiches in line with Aramark brand standards  Take payment and keep financial records as required  Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise  Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so  Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas  Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the workday  Perform daily paper/computer work she/he is assigned   Keeps diligent records as required  Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements  Key Requirements: Excellent Customer Service Skills  Food Safety and Hygiene Knowledge  Teamwork and Communication  Flexibility and Reliability  Physical Stamina and Organisational Skills  About Aramark If you are applying for this role and you already work for Aramark, you must notify your line manager before submitting your application.   At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
