The department provides expertise in material selection, sustainability initiatives, PFAS-free technology development, regulatory compliance, and failure analysis to support the evolving needs of Copeland’s products and customers worldwide. Based in Pune, India, we are seeking an individual knowledgeable in polymer science and engineering to provide material and technology solutions that advance current and future compressor system designs. If you are POLYMER SCIENCE ENGINEERING  professional with strong knowledge of Organic Chemistry seeking an opportunity to grow and make a global impact, we have an exciting opportunity for you! This position is based in our Pune, India location. In this role, you will provide polymer engineering support to multidisciplinary teams across Copeland to develop innovative polymer solutions for current and next-generation compressor technologies. for advancing current and future compressor system designs. In this role, you will evaluate current and new polymer materials, and processing methods using analytical and scientific tools. Responsibilities include material selection, failure analysis, sustainability initiatives, PFAS-free material evaluations, and the assessment of new materials and manufacturing processes using advanced analytical and scientific techniques   AS A POLYMER ENGINEER, YOU WILL:  Work as an individual contributor in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision. Provide polymer engineering support to Engineering, Product Development, Operations, and Supplier Quality teams.
