Job Overview The position is accountable for planning, organizing and overseeing the daily operation of the department, energy management, prepare & controlling the budget, dealing with contractors regarding quotations, contracts for repair & maintenance, A&A work, renovation works, handling license application and arrangements for all M & E and building repair works and etc. Responsibilities Be responsible for preparation and controlling of departmental budgets. Manage a team of duty engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they perform their duties effectively.  Oversee the inspection and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.  Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.  Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any engineering-related issues in a timely manner. Prepare procurement requisitions and other engineering-related documents for daily operations. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.  Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions.  Responsibilities (Con't) Requirements Holder of Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Building Services Engineering or related disciplines. Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker at Grade A. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the hotel / hospitality industry.  Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.  In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.  Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
