Class 1 or 3 Driver/Operator, Pressure & Vacuum

CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 or 3 Driver/Operators for our Pressure & Vacuum division at our  Fort McMurray, AB location!  Travel  and  accommodation  are not offered for this position. Safety  is number 1: we watch out for one another  Skill development and  opportunity for growth Opportunity to  learn and gain experience  on other pieces of equipment Variety : changing work scopes from one day to the next – there is always a new challenge Be a part of a true  team.  Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great people, all while having a laugh.   Key Duties and Responsibilities Work alongside Labourers operating and maintaining Vacuum trucks, High Pressure Water equipment and various specialty tools 90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground! Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacity Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back Ensure safety for all team members and property Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time Qualifications Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years is required Driving manual transmissions (10, 13 or 18 speed) is required, must be able to pass a CEDA’s driver assessment. Prior experience driving a Vacuum Truck is an asset. 1+ years of operator experience in an industrial environment CSO certification required Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset but not required, we will train you!
