Class Checker (Student Wage)

Student Success Class Checkers UVA Athletics Student Success seeks Student Success Class Checkers to support student-athletes in their academic success. We are seeking dependable and attentive Class Checkers to monitor and record class attendance. The ideal candidate would follow a schedule of classes to check student-athlete attendance and provide a welcoming environment. Daily Job Responsibilities: Arrive promptly to designated class location and stay for designated time Monitor and record class attendance of designated student-athletes Report accurate attendance information on database Comply with all NCAA and ACC rules and regulations Commit to following the UVA Honor Code Communicate professionally with all students and staff Qualifications Current UVA student enrolled full time Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain professional and attentive Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Ability to follow all UVA, ACC and NCAA guidelines Federal work study student encouraged to apply Position Compensation: $15 hourly Location: various UVA buildings/classrooms Attach a current resume. Experience: None Licensure: None Physical Demands This job does involve traveling between spaces. All shifts will take place in person.
